  • This paper presents an analytical solution for the field backscattered by a dihedral corner with loaded faces. It enhances the accuracy of the previously developed improved physical optics model by the introduction of a new corrective term based on the physical theory of diffraction. The resulting field patterns are in perfect agreement with reliable results provided by a finite element method solver.
