La terminación de las estructuras tectónicas del dominio oriental del Sistema Central

    Se estudia la prolongación de todas las estructuras tectónicas de la parte oriental del Sistema Central hacia el noroeste peninsular. Se observa que los grandes pliegues de primera fase hercínica giran desde direcciones N-S a direcciones NW-SE, describiendo un acusado arco. Este giro es debido en gran medida a la acción de un importante desgarro dúctil post-F2 la Falla de Honrubia, que se prolonga hacia el SE hasta enlazar con la falla de Somolinos.

    Se propone que el anticlinal de primera fase del Macizo de Honrubia es la prolongación del existente al NE de Riaza, en la parte occidental del sinclinorio del Campillo.

    The prolongation of all tectonic structures of the western part of the Spanish Central System towards the northwest is studied. It is clear how large folds related to the first tectonic phase (F1) turn from a N-S trend to a NW-SE trend drawing a marked arch. This rotation can be explained by the action of a very important post-F2 ductil wrench fault, "the Honrubia fault", which as a matter of fact, is the prolongation of the Somolinos fault towards the West.

    On these grounds, we propose that the F1 antiform of the Honrubia massif is coincident with the northestern Riaza antiform, located on the western flank of the great Campillo synform.
