  El sistema aeroportuario español ha experimentado una transformación sin precedentes a raíz del proceso de liberalización del sector aéreo llevado a cabo a finales del siglo pasado. Entre sus numerosos efectos, destaca el aumento de la conectividad aérea. Así, utilizando el denominado coeficiente de conectividad, se pretende analizar la evolución del grado de vertebración nacional entre los sistemas urbanos (conectividad nacional) y la participación de los aeropuertos españoles en el escenario global (conectividad internacional) resaltando la incidencia del turismo en dicho fenómeno.

  The Spanish airport system has experienced deep changes as a consequence of the liberalization process of air transport developed at the end of the last century. One of its main consequences has been the increase of the air connectivity. Thus, by means of the so-called coefficient of connectivity, an analysis of the evolution of the degree of vertebration at the national level between urban systems (national connectivity) and the participation of the Spanish airports in the global scene (international connectivity) is intended, highlighting the impact of tourism on that phenomenon.
