El objetivo de este texto es poner sobre la mesa algunos argumentos de Oliver Kozlarek acerca del papel que la religión juega en el humanismo latinoamericano. Particularmente, en el humanismo de Antonio Caso. La relación entre humanismo y religión es de gran importancia en nuestro tiempo llamado por muchos "post-secular". En este sentido, explorar las relaciones entre ciencia y religión, cultura secular y religiosidad, humanismo y cristianismo, abre interesantes perspectivas sobre este "asunto de nuestro tiempo".

I discuss in this paper some arguments of Oliver Kozlarek relative to the role that religion plays in the Latin American humanism, particularly in Antonio Caso�s humanism.
The relationship between humanism and religion is of great relevance in our time, called by some people "post secular".
In thise sense, exploring the relationship between science and religion, secular culture and religiosity, humanism and Christianity, opens relevant perspectives for this "issue of our time".
