The Algerian popular literature is the perfect vector of the ancestral traditions which are passed on from a generation to the other one to dictate attitudes and behavior of the individuals in society. It is a question in this article of bending over this type (chap) of production, to loosen (to kick away) a speech concerning the maternal educational strategies, a discourse which reveals a blatant discrimination as for the education given to the girls and to the boys.

La littérature populaire algérienne est le parfait vecteur des traditions ancestrales qui se transmettent d'une génération à une autre pour dicter les attitudes et les comportements des individus en société. Il s'agit dans cet article de se pencher sur ce type de production, afin de dégager un discours relatif aux stratégies éducatives maternelles, discours qui dévoile une discrimination flagrante quant à l'éducation donnée aux filles et aux garçons.
