Contenido polínico de la atmósfera de Castilla-La Mancha Durante el año 2008

    El principal objetivo de este trabajo es identificar los tipos polínicos de la atmósfera de la comunidad de Castilla-La Mancha, así como conocer los niveles que alcanzan y su época de presencia en el aire. La toma de muestras se ha llevado a cabo con captadores volumétricos tipo Hirst en 5 estaciones aerobiológicas de la Red de Aerobiología de Castilla-La Mancha (Albacete, Ciudad Real, Cuenca, Guadalajara y Toledo). Los tipos polínicos más representativos corresponden a Quercus, Cupressaceae/Taxaceae, Poaceae, Olea, Pinus y Urticaceae. La época de mayor presencia de polen se registra en primavera (abril-junio) seguida de invierno (enero-marzo). Toledo es la ciudad que presenta mayores cantidades de polen (59,465 granos anuales) seguida de Ciudad Real y de Cuenca. Albacete y Guadalajara presentan menor contenido polínico y por tanto mayor pureza ambiental en cuanto a polen se refiere.

    The principal aim of this work is to determine the pollen types in the atmosphere of Castilla-La Mancha region, as well as their levels and the time they remain in the air. Airborne pollen was collected using Hirst volumetric spore traps in 5 aerobiological stations from the Castilla-La Mancha Aerobiology Network (Albacete, Ciudad Real, Cuenca, Guadalajara and Toledo). The best represented pollen types are Quercus, Cupressaceae/T axaceae, Poaceae, Olea, Pinus and Urticaceae. The period with the greatest presence of pollen is spring (april-june), followed by winter (january-march). Toledo is the city with the highest amounts of pollen (59.465 grains annually) followed by Ciudad Real and Cuenca. Albacete and Guadalajara present the lowest pollen content and thus the greatest environmental purity as regards airborne pollen.
