    El emprendimiento en las cooperativas de Mondragón ha estado presente en toda su existencia siendo una de sus características más reseñables. Pero los retos futuros no van a ser menores que los que propiciaron el inicio de esa experiencia. Comprender las razones de los éxitos y fracasos anteriores con el desarrollo de una base teórica para impulsar el emprendimiento empresarial y social nos debe permitir hacer frente al reto de transformación empresarial que nos hemos propuesto. El cooperativismo de Mondragón dispone de un ecosistema amplio y complejo al que hay que darle vida. La propia complejidad ofrece muchas oportunidades para establecer un modelo de emprendimiento potente con varias áreas donde emprender pero exige a su vez entenderlo correctamente para sacarle el mayor aprovechamiento. Emprender como unidad independiente, como Corporación, desde la Universidad o los Centros Tecnológicos supone tocar teclas distintas para que el resultado final sea satisfactorio.

The cooperatives of Mondragon have a large and complex ecosystem that needs to be stimulated. Its own complexity offers many opportunities to establish a powerful model of entrepreneurship with several areas in which to undertake, but requires at the same time a proper understanding in order to get greater use out of it. Undertaking as an independent unit, as a corporation, from the University or the technological centres involves playing various keys so that the result is satisfactory.
