    El Mar Menor presenta características singulares en el contexto del Mediterraneo español, tanto por sus valores ambientales, como por las reconocidas cualidades para su aprovechamiento turístico. Su interés ha propiciado su inclusión entre los espacios que merecen una especial protección y conservación y las propiedades fisicoquímicas de sus aguas lo convierten en un escenario único para el producto turístico Salud y Belleza. Este trabajo relaciona el Espacio Natural Protegido del Mar Menor con sus potencialidades como materia prima y recurso turístico.

    The Mar Menor presents unique characteristics in the context of the Spanish Mediterranean, for their environmental values and their qualities for tourist exploitation. Its interest has led to its inclusion among the areas that deserve special protection and conservation and the physicochemical properties of its waters make it a unique setting for the tourist product Health and Beauty.

    This work relates the Natural Protected Area of the Mar Manor, with its potential as a feedstock and tourist resource.
