    It discusses the social structure in the network as a means of people's interaction for the exchanging of information and knowledge in the information society and emphasizes that the interactions between pairs are the driving force in the interactive learning. In this framework, social relations are unlimited and the work becomes effective in the cooperation towards the flow of received and retransmitted informatiion. It discusses the role of information in corporate networks and the format of Local Productive Arrangement (APL), based on the geographical concentration of members of the same production chain, as the one that best allows the exploration of the typical advantages of agglomeration economies, such as the sharing of infra structure, information and manpower joint training. As the metodology of the research, it uses the Textile Network APL of Americana - Sao Paulo as a case study, obtaining the data by interviews with businessmen and entrepreneurs of the textile sector, emphasizing the different forms of connection among its components. As a subsidy in the data analysis, the study uses the software Ucinet, which allows the mapping of the relationships in the network, and uses the tool Netdraw to help visualizing the wetwork by the creation of nets. It concludes by recommending new ideas to the Information Science on how information flows and influences the actions among pairs.

    Aborda estrutura social em rede como forma de interaçao entre as pessoas para a troca de informaçao e conhecimento na sociedade da informaçao. Ressalta que as interaçoes entre pares sao a força propulsora do aprendizado interativo. Nesse espaço, as relaçoes sociais sao ilimitadas e o trabalho se efetiva de forma cooperativa em direçao aos fluxos de informaçao recebidos e retransmitidos. Discute o papel da informaçao nas redes de empresas e o formato de Arranjo Produtivo Local (APL), baseado na concentraçào geográfica de integrantes de uma mesma cadeia produtiva, como aquele que melhor permite explorar as vantagens típicas das economias de aglomeraçào, como o compartilhamento de infra-estrutura, informaçào e treinamento conjunto de mào de obra. Como metodologia, realiza um estudo de caso da Rede APL Tèxtil, de Americana Sào Paulo, a partir da realizaçào de entrevistas com empresários, empreendedores do setor têxtil, enfatizando as diferentes formas de jconexao entre seus componentes. Para subsidiar a análise dos dados jobtidos, faz uso do software Ucinet, que permite mapear as relaçoes em rede, e para auxiliar na visualizaçao da rede com acriaçao de grafos, utiliza se a ferramenta Netdraw, do Ucinet. Conclui recomendando novas reflexoes à Ciência da Informaçao sobre como a informaçao flui e influencia as açoes entre pares.
