Resumen de Conflitos morais insolúveis e sistemas racionalistas: uma abordagem sobre consistência moral

  The present article approaches two specific topics in ethics: the problem of the moral conflicts in Philosophy and the question of consistency in moral theories. The relation between moral conflicts and moral consistency here established was done due to the nature of some kinds of moral conflicts: the insoluble or genuine � that will be explained along this work. Conflicts of this kind cause inconsistency in norms of certain moral systems as, for example, the rationalist�s type. Based on that, the authors involved with this theme show divided opinions: some of them opt to defend the genuineness of the insoluble moral conflicts and consider the eventual inconsistencies in moral theory as secondary, while other authors opt for safeguard the logic of moral theory and moral thought, denying the insoluble moral conflicts. This article tries to delineate such �division� among the authors, in briefly exploring the argumentations of both parts. In the end is demonstrated that a discussion about consistency and moral conflicts needs to considerate the metaethics sphere to the same extent that the normative sphere of ethics.

  O presente artigo aborda dois tópicos específicos em ética: o problema dos conflitos morais em filosofia e a questão da consistência em teorias morais. A relação entre conflitos morais e consistência moral estabelecida neste trabalho foi realizada graças à natureza de alguns tipos de conflitos morais, a saber: os insolúveis ou genuínos - que serão explicados ao longo do trabalho. Conflitos desse tipo são capazes de causar inconsistências nas normas de certos sistemas morais, como por exemplo, os preponderantemente racionalistas. Partindo desse problema, os autores que se dispõe a trabalhar este tema demonstram opiniões divididas: alguns optam por defender a genuinidade dos conflitos morais insolúveis e consideram as eventuais inconsistências na teoria moral como secundárias, enquanto outros optam por salvaguardar a lógica do pensamento e das teorias morais, negando os conflitos morais insolúveis. Este artigo busca esboçar tal �divisão� entre os autores, ao explorar brevemente as argumentações de ambas as partes. Por fim, fica demonstrado que uma discussão sobre consistência e conflitos morais precisa considerar tanto a esfera metaética quanto a esfera normativa da ética.
