    En el siguiente trabajo se pretende mostrar cómo lleva a cabo William Goldman la adaptación de su novela La princesa prometida al guión cinematográfico que dará lugar al filme homónimo dirigido por Rob Reiner. En el análisis se hará un recorrido a lo largo de la naturaleza narrativa del lenguaje literario en contraste con el lenguaje fílmico desde un punto de vista general, así como los recursos de los que se vale Goldman para llevar a cabo dicha adaptación en particular. En esta segunda parte del estudio se abordarán la cuestión de la fábula y la forma interior, siendo la primera similar en ambas obras (el libro y la película), y la segunda claramente distinta.

    The following work attempts to show how William Goldman adapts his novel, The Princess Bride, to the screenplay and film by the same name that was directed by Rob Reiner. This analysis will discuss the narrative nature of the literary work in contrast with the screenplay from a general point of view. In addition, an analysis will be made of the ressources utilized by Goldman to carry out his adaptation of the literary work into a screenplay. In the second part of this work, the question of the fable and the interior form will be tackled, the formentioned being similar in both works (book and film), and the latter being clearly distinct.
