  En este artículo se estudia la historiografía española sobre la romanización de Hispania, desde la incorporación del concepto con Eduardo de Hinojosa, hasta 1960. Se analizan temas como los agentes de la romanización, los medios, así como la valoración general de las aportaciones de Roma a la cultura española, con el estudio de autores diversos como Ballesteros, Torres López, Bosch Gimpera, Sánchez-Albornoz, Pericot o Vicens-Vives, entre otros.

  In this article the Spanish historiography about the Romanisation of Hispania is studied, from the incorporation of the concept by Eduardo de Hinojosa, to 1960. Subjects like the agents of the Romanisation, the means, as well as the general valuation of the contributions from Rome to the Spanish culture are analyzed, thought the study of diverse authors like Ballesteros, Torres López, Bosch Gimpera, Sanchez-Albornoz, Pericot or Vicens-Vives, among others.
