    Desde una aproximación de la teoría que ha inspirado la Constitución y la forma de gobierno, y de un estudio de caso, se descubren los factores que inciden en la pretensión ciudadana de llevar a cabo un proceso de revocatoria de mandato, analizándolo conforme a la legislación vigente y entrevistas realizadas a los actores que participaron en el mismo, para llegar a una serie de conclusiones que ponen de manifiesto tanto los avances legales, como los vacíos que presenta.

    The Revocatory of Mandate is stated, mechanism of citizen participation consecrated in the Political Constitution, related to the system of participating democratic government of Colombia. From an approach of the theory that has inspired the Constitution and the government manner, and from a case study, the factors that affect directly and collaterally the citizen pretension to carry out a trial like so are discovered, analyzing it according to the effective legislation and interviews carried out to the actors that participated in this, to get to a set of conclusions that highlight the legal advances that regulate the mechanism, as well as the normative gaps that this present.
