Resumen de Globalization: object - perspective - horizon
The article proposes an approach to globalization as a perspective and myth (in contrast to globalization as an object). It appeals to an anthropological framework of analysis and examines challenges that local/global relationships raise for the consolidated issues and concepts of the discipline. It also explores the relationships between globalization and a "spirit of the times" that manisfests itself in several domains, from academic to practical ones. To capture this spirit of our times, I focus on the field of religiosity (Pentecostalism. New Age) and on anthropological practice itself in a nonscientificist dialogue and in interaction with other domains and representations
