Resumen de Estelas discoideas del sureste de la provincia de Burgos

Este artículo analiza un conjunto de 38 estelas discoideas (la mayoría de ellas inéditas), halladas en la comarca de la Sierra, sita al sureste de la provincia de Burgos. La presencia de motivos cruciformes y la aparición de los hallazgos en las inmediaciones de templos románicos permiten atribuir estas muestras sepulcrales a la comunidad cristiana que pobló esta zona en el siglo XII y principios del XIII. Todas estas piezas reproducen los típicos parámetros de las estelas medievales más próximas, documentadas en Soria, La Rioja, Cantabria, Navarra y País Vasco.

This article studies a group of thirty eight discoid stelae (most of them unkown up to now) which have been found in La Sierra, an area located in the south-east of the province of Burgos. Due to the existence of cruciform motifs and the place where they have been discovered in the surrounding of Romanic churches, it can be said that these burial works belonged to the Christian community who lived in the area during the 12th century and the beginning of the 13th century. All these pieces show the typical shapes of references of the nearest Medieval stelae documented in Soria, La Rioja, Cantabria, Navarra and País Vasco.

Artikulu honek disko-formako 38 estela aztertzen ditu (horietako gehienak argitaragabeak), Mendilerroaren eskualdean (Burgosko probintziaren hego-ekialdean kokaturikoa) aurkiturikoak. Gurutze-formako motiboak egoteak eta tenplu erromanikoen inguruetan aurkikuntzak agertzeak hilobiko lagin horiek XII. mendean eta XIII. mendearen hasieran inguru horretan bizi izan zen kristau komunitateari egoztea ahalbidetzen dute. Pieza horiek guztiek Erdi Aroko estela hurbilenen (Soria, Errioxa, Kantabria, Nafarroa eta Euskadin dokumentatuen) ohiko parametroak irudikatzen dituzte.
