    Memoria Canalla es uno de los proyectos ganadores del concurso Ciudad y Patrimonio 2008 del Instituto Distrital del Patrimonio Cultural, entidad que depende de la Alcaldía Mayor de Bogotá. El proyecto Memoria Canalla ha recopilado durante tres meses, en una exposición pública y colectiva, parte de la historia tapada (por la pintura) de los muros de Bogotá. La exposición- memoria muestra imágenes que durante décadas han estado presentes en los recorridos cotidianos de sus ciudadanos: rayas o pintadas, que por su condición efímera y residual, no habían sido registradas hasta este momento en ningún espacio institucional relacionado con las artes.

    Memoria Canalla, (Rabble Memory) is one of the winning projects of the contest �City and Patrimony 2008�, it organized by the Local Institute for the Cultural Patrimony, institution that depends on the Major Town Hall of Bogota. The objective of this annual contest is getting support to the movements that invigorate cultural and socially the capital and its metropolitan area. Also it seeks to promote positive values and of civic contact among the citizens since multiple areas: social, cultural, landscape, architectural or infrastructures, negotiated by the Town Hall. The MEMORIA CANALLA project has been compiled during three months, in a collective and public exhibition, part of the history really covered, by the painting, of the walls of Bogota. The exposition- images show the memory that during decades have been present in them travelled through routine of their citizens: lines or painted, that by their residual and ephemeral condition, they had not been registered to this moment in a cultural or institutional space related to the Arts
