El análisis detallado del Prólogo y la Epístola de la Ephemeris Belli Troiani permite establecer el esquema estructural del tópico del manuscrito reencontrado. En este estudio se explora en qué medida los detalles (las mentiras subsidiarias) que envuelven la estructura favorecen e influyen en la recepción del texto en un determinado sentido, esto es, cómo consiguen que una narración ficticia pase a la posteridad como un relato historiográfico verídico.

An analysis of the Prologue and the Epistle to the Ephemeris Belli Troiani allows to establish the structural scheme of the topic of the found manuscript. The aim of this study is to explore the extent to which details (the subsidiary lies) that surround the structure favour and influence the reception of the text in a certain sense, that is, how they achieve a fictional truth to be turned into an historiographical truth.
