El aspecto estratégico de las relaciones públicas en el servicio comunitario en el sector universitario

    La investigación estuvo dirigida a la prestación del servicio comunitario que por Ley debe cumplir de forma obligatoria todo estudiante de pregrado, el cual debe prestar dicho servicio a las comunidades donde ejerza influencia la institución educativa. Para una mejor identificación con el reglamento de servicio comunitario de la Universidad del Zulia, se diseño y presentó un proyecto de Servicio Comunitario, de amplio espectro pero haciendo énfasis desde la perspectiva de las Relaciones Públicas. El estudio es de carácter bibliográfico, descriptivo y de campo, donde se abordaron 16 comunidades en un lapso comprendido entre marzo del 2008 al 2009 atendidas por los grupos estudiantiles del sexto al décimo semestre de la Escuela de Comunicación Social de la institución, quienes cumplían con el servicio comunitario como requisito de grado. El estimado de las comunidades atendidas e impactadas oscila entre trescientas a quinientas personas, distribuidas en diversas zonas del distrito Maracaibo, Mara y San Francisco. Las actividades realizadas estuvieron enfocadas al perfil del futuro egresado como reza la ley. Los resultados arrojaron dispersión comunicacional en las zonas afectadas, falta de coherencia en cuanto a medios y métodos de comunicación y necesidad de contar con medios propios, efectivos y constantes, así como actividades que le permitan interactuar entre los habitantes.

    The investigation was directed to the benefit of the communitarian service that by Law must fulfill of obligatory form all bachelor student, which must serve this to the communities where the educative institution exerts influence. For one better identification with the communitarian regulation on watch of the University of Zulia, design and I appear a Communitarian project on watch, of ample phantom but making emphasis from the point of view of the Publics Relations. The study is of bibliographical, descriptive character and of field, where 16 communities in a lapse between March from the 2008 to the 2009 approached themselves taken care of by the student groups of the sixth the tenth semester of the School of Social Communication of the institution, who fulfilled the communitarian service like degree requirement. The considered one of the taken care of and hit communities oscillates between three hundred to five hundred people, distributed in diverse zones of the district Maracaibo, Mara and San Francisco. The activities were focused to the profile of the future withdrawn as it says the law. The results threw communicational dispersion in the affected zones, lacking of coherence as far as means and methods of communication and necessity to count on own, effective and constant means, as well as activities that allow him to interact between the inhabitants.
