    La disfunción del iliaco en rotación anterior puede ser secundaria a un desequilibrio postural, a un espasmo de la musculatura periarticular e incluso como causa de reflejos viscerosomáticos alterados. Las restricciones de movilidad en la cintura pélvica pueden tener un efecto profundo en la alteración de la funcionalidad estructural, visceral y craneal, alterándose a su vez el movimiento craneosacro. El objetivo principal de la técnica semidirecta de thrust con kick para la lesión del ilíaco anterior es liberar la restricción articular del brazo mayor de la articulación sacroilíaca. Conociendo las pautas para llegar a un diagnóstico diferencial correcto mediante las pruebas osteopáticas de Gillet y Downing, y los principios de ejecución de la técnica se consigue la restauración del movimiento en rotación posterior del ilíaco.

    Anterior iliac rotation dysfunction can be secondary to postural imbalance or to a spasm in the periarticular muscles and can even cause altered viscerosomatic reflexes. Restrictions in waist mobility can produce highly significant modifications in the patient's structural, visceral and cranial functions and, in turn, can alter craniosacral movement. The main objective of the semidirect thrust kick technique, when applied to an anterior iliac lesion, is to release articular restriction in the long arm of the sacroiliac joint. Knowledge of the patterns leading to a correct differential diagnosis, through the tests of Gillet and Downing, and of the principles for the application of the technique, allows posterior iliac rotation to be restored.
