    El hemangioendotelioma epitelioide (HEE) es una rara neoplasia vascular de grado intermedio de malignidad, con potencial biológico entre el hemangioma y el hemangiosarcoma.Estos tumores principalmente se desarrollan en tejidos blandos de extremidades, pulmón, hígado o hueso, pero raramente se presentan en la región cervicofacial y excepcionalmente aparecen en cavidad oral. En el presente documento aportamos un caso de HEE localizado en suelo de boca. El diagnóstico se realizó en base a la clínica, los hallazgos histológicos y la tinción immunohistoquímica.

    Epithelioid hemangioendothelioma (EHE) is a rare vascular neoplasm of intermediate malignant potential, with biological behaviour between hemangioma and angiosarcoma. These tumours most commonly arise in soft tissues of the extremities, lung, liver and bone, but it rarely occurs in the head and neck region and excepcionaly affects the oral cavity.In this paper, we report one case of EHE in the floor of the mouth. Diagnosis was based on the clinical behaviour, histological features, and immunohistochemical findings.
