Resumen de Efeitos da crise econômico-financeira de 2008, no mercado internacional e a preservação das microempresas e empresas de pequeno porte brasileiras

  This paper analyzes the impacts of global financial and economic crisis of 2008 that hit heavily the economies of countries in general, especially Brazil. Investigate what were the causes and the consequences for businesses, especially small business. Demonstrates that many countries have negative growth because of lack of confidence and strong credit crunch, a result of the insolvency of many banks and financial institutions, becoming worse with the bankruptcy of Lehman Brothers on Sept. 15 that year and soon after with the insurer AIG. Highlights that the big companies in the mortgage industry, automotive, construction, were the hardest hit, with major slowdown in its activities. Also, small firms - foreign firms and small-EPP was also strongly affected, leading to high unemployment in the industry and significant increase in crashes. We conclude that this moment of crisis, not yet fully extinguished, with the tax issue in the countries of the eurozone, insurrections in the Arab countries, governments should pay special attention to this business segment by adopting policies that minimize their impacts aiming their preservation and, in consideration of their relevant social role, representing 98.8% of the enterprise segment and 60% of the manpower employed regularly.

  O trabalho analisa a repercussão e os impactos da crise econômico-financeira mundial de 2008 que atingiu fortemente as economias dos países em geral, destacando o Brasil. Investiga quais foram as causas e as consequência para as empresas, notadamente os pequenos negócios. Demonstra que muitos países tiverem crescimento negativo em razão da falta de confiança e forte retração do crédito, consequência da insolvência de muitos bancos e instituições financeiras, agravando-se com a quebra do Lehman Brothers em 15 de setembro desse ano e logo depois com a seguradora AIG. Destaca que, as grandes empresas do setor hipotecário, automobilístico, construção civil foram as que mais sofreram, com grande retração em suas atividades. Igualmente, as microempresas � ME e empresas de pequeno porte � EPP também foram fortemente impactadas, gerando grande desemprego no setor e aumento significativo de quebras. Conclui que neste momento de crise, ainda não totalmente debelado, com a questão fiscal dos países da zona do euro, insurreições nos países árabes, os governos devem dar especial atenção a esse segmento empresarial, adotando políticas públicas que minimizem os seus impactos objetivando a sua preservação e, em consideração ao seu relevante papel social, representando 98,8% do segmento empresarial e 60% da mão-de-obra regularmente empregada.
