    En la vida de los discípulos, seguir a Jesús, no es una dimensión más entre otras, ya que la misma relación del discípulo con el Maestro aparece mediante una serie de vocablos que pertenecen al campo conceptual del seguimiento. Este artículo ha pretendido estudiar los textos del Evangelio de Marcos en que aparece el verbo “seguir”, a fin de poder descubrir, a través de los distintos trazos presentados por el evangelista en esos pasajes, la imagen del discípulo, sus características y su identidad.

    In the life of the disciples, to follow Jesus, it is not one more dimension among others, given that the very relation of the disciple with the Teacher it is expressed by means of terms that belong to the conceptual field of the following up. This article has intended to study the texts of Marc’s Gospel in the places in which the verb “to follow” comes up, in order to be able to discover, through the diverse sketches presented in those passages by the evangelist, the image of the disciple, his characteristics and his identity.
