La construcción discursiva del conflicto iraquí en la prensa venezolana

    Esta investigación analiza a través de un enfoque lingüístico, la construcción que los periódicos venezolanos realizan del conflicto en Irak. El estudio es de carácter cualitativo, y se aplicó el análisis del discurso, desde una perspectiva lingüística, partiendo del modelo propuesto por Molero (1985, 1999, 2003), Pottier (1992) y van Dijk (1996, 1998, 2003). La población estuvo conformada por informaciones publicadas en el mes de abril de 2005 en los diarios El Nacional y El Universal sobre Irak y el tipo de muestreo fue probabilístico aleatorio simple. Los resultados determinaron que las noticias presentan principalmente la posición de quienes conforman el nuevo gobierno (chiítas) y las fuerzas de la coalición, con la intención de legitimar las acciones de éstos en la conformación de un Irak democrático. Resalta el uso del léxico y estrategias discursivas para enfatizar los aspectos positivos de la constitución del nuevo Estado y para acentuar los procesos de degradación del gobierno derrocado.

    This investigation analyzes across an approach lingistic the construction that Venezuelan newspapers realize the conflict in Irak. The study is of character qualitative. I apply the analisys of the speech to him from a perspective linguistics departing from the model proposed by Molero (1985, 1999, 2003), Pottier (1992) and van Dijk (1996, 1998, 2003). The population was shaped by public information in April 2005 in the diaries El Nacional and El Universal one about Irak and the type of sampling was probabilistic randon simply. The results determined that the new presents principally the position of those who shape the new government and the forces of the coalition with the intention of legitimate the actions of these in the conformation a democratic Itac. It higlights the use of the lexicon and discursive strategies to emphasize the poitive aspects of the constitution of the emphasize the positive aspects of the constitution of the new condition and to accentuate the demolished government.
