    El artículo gira en torno al tema de la inalienabilidad absoluta de ciertos bienes culturales a partir de la teoría de John Moustakas sobre propiedad grupal. En primer lugar, y luego de algunas consideraciones generales, se intenta circunscribir la defi nición de lo que debe entenderse por un bien cultural. En segundo lugar, se toca el tema de cómo determinar el carácter de inalienables de los bienes culturales esencialmente unidos a la identidad de un grupo. En tercer lugar, se intenta precisar si determinados bienes culturales (tejidos Aymara de Coroma) encuadran como bienes inalienables en atención a la teoría de Moustakas. Por último, se trata de demostrar que si ciertos principios morales deben ser tomados en cuenta para la aplicación de la teoría de Moustakas, entonces la inalienabilidad de los bienes culturales esencialmente unidos a la identidad de un grupo debe ser presumida.

    The article deals with the strict inalienability of certain cultural objects from the perspective of John Moustakas' property for grouphood theory. After some general considerations, the article fi rstly attempts to delimit the defi nition of cultural objects. Secondly, it considers how to determine the inalienability of the cultural objects substantially "bound up" with a group's identity. Thirdly, the article analyses whether some cultural objects (Aymara textiles from Coroma) can be classifi ed as inalienable objects, from the perspective of Moustakas' theory. Finally, the article attempts to demonstrate that if in order to be applicable, Moustakas' theory requires that certain moral principles are considered, then the presumption of the inalienability of the objects substantially "bound up" with a group¿s identity is needed.
