Esse artigo recupera a trajetória do Jornal dos Trabalhadores Rurais Sem Terra, observado como veículo de comunicação, mas também de luta. O jornal procurou revelar as tensões presentes no campo na tentativa de descortinar as interfaces da política agrária no país, revelando o seu comprometimento com a qualidade da informação e sua missão enquanto instrumento de luta para os trabalhadores rurais imbricados no MST. Apesar das mudanças na formação do Jornal, na alternância de seus jornalistas e na sua nomenclatura por diversas vezes, não representou a perda de sua essência enquanto instrumento de formação e de luta para os trabalhadores.

This article recovers the trajectory of the Newspaper of the rural Workers Without Land, noticed like communication vehicle, but also of struggle. The newspaper tried to reveal the present tensions in the field in the attempt of unveiling the interfaces of the agrarian politics in the country, revealing his compromising with the quality of the information and his mission while struggle instrument for the overlapped rural workers in MST. Although the changes in the formation of the Newspaper, in the changers of his journalists and in his nomenclature for several times, did not represent the loss of his more important part while his score of formation and of struggle for the workers.
