Aquest article planteja una pregunta i fa una crítica a la filosofia. Des d’on formulem les preguntes filosòfiques? Pot la filosofia donar resposta al punt d’enunciació? Aquest interrogant sorgeix d’algunes qüestions d’una opacitat simptomàtica per a la filosofia: com la posició femenina i la seva relació enigmàtica al saber. Per tal de contextualitzar aquest tema analitzem dues escenes metafòriques on un personatge femení (del món grec, Diotima; del món semític, Ruth) revela les subtilitats de l’enigma. L’enigma com a punt d’enunciació ens remet a un retorn a la metàfora; metàfora que ha quedat reduïda a un “residu” en el món de la ciència i la tècnica. Resta per saber on s’ha de situar aquest retorn a la metàfora i si, en aquests termes, podríem finalment emplaçar de la bona manera la pregunta per les dones i la filosofia.
In this article we make a question and a critic to the philosophical way of making questions. What is the point where the questions become what they are in its terms? Philosophy is in trouble when it has to do with some “impossible” problems, such as gender or the feminine perspective in the attachment to knowledge, because these are the points that trascend Philosophy herself. On the other hand, those points are crucial: they show that an enigmatic attachment to knowledge might also be a metaphore for something else that goes far beyond philosophical thinking and could deconstruct it. In this article we analize two metaphors, two lyrical scenes, in which feminine characters –in the greek world, Diotima; in the jewish tradition, Ruthilustrate this particular enigmatic attachment to knowledge, and we think upon its metaphorical dimension. What would be the risks for Philosophy if she would take into account what we call “the return of metaphor”? Perhaps this could be a possible way to make the question about “the feminine question” in Philosophy.
