    O objetivo deste estudo é mostrar as relações literárias entre Brasil e o Império Português na África. Do ponto de vista histórico, o Brasil tornara-se o destino final de 38% dos escravos transportados para a América do Sul. As marcas deixadas pela África nas terras brasileiras são biológicas, lingüísticas, sociais e culturais. Em parte, também ocorreu um processo inverso, pois se encontram características brasileiras em várias partes da África, principalmente nos setores sociais e culturais. Desde o século XIX, a literatura brasileira desperta nos intelectuais e escritores da África de língua portuguesa grande interesse. O artigo discute as redes de cumplicidades estabelecidas entre os continentes, as literárias e além delas.

    The claim of this study is to show the literary relations between Brazil and the Portuguese Empire in Africa. From the historical point of view, Brazil had become the ultimate destination for 38% of the slaves transported to South America. In Brazil the marks left by Africa are biological, linguistic, social and cultural rights. In part, there was also a reverse process, because they are characteristics of Brazil in various parts of Africa, mainly in social and cultural spheres. Since the XIX century, Brazilian literature arouses great interest among intellectuals and writers of the Portuguese language in Africa. The article discusses the established networks of complicity between the continents, the literary and beyond.
