    In the 1930.s two different phenomena involving Italian communities in the world were closely related. On the one hand, it observes a strong fascist policy interested in creating stronger relations with Italy, in her ¡°fascistized¡± dress. On the other hand, there was a process of social uprising of the Italians immigrants and of their descendants that included a reformulation of the Italian migratory experience, with the construction of an epic narration of the expatriation phenomenon. By examining the specific historical situation . that is, the dynamics that had taken place before the invasion of Abyssinia by the Italian army and the first war movements, in a complicated international context, in which fascist Italy was punished by the League of Nations with economic sanctions � this paper tries to understand the construction process of a link in terms of emotion and identity between the communities of immigrants in the Italian colonial zone in Rio Grande do Sul and the society of the land of their ancestors, represented by the Fascist State.

    Na década de 1930, associam-se dois fenômenos que envolvem as comunidades italianas no exterior. Por um lado, observa-se uma forte política fascista de reaproximação dessas comunidades à Itália, em sua veste �fascitizada�. Por outro, denota-se um processo de ascensão social dos imigrantes italianos e de seus descendentes que traz consigo a busca de uma re-elaboração da experiência imigratória, com a produção de uma narrativa épica do fenômeno de expatriação. Em uma realidade específica � a saber, as dinâmicas que antecedem a invasão da Abissínia pelas tropas italianas e os seus primeiros movimentos, em um conturbado contexto internacional, no qual a Itália fascista é punida com sanções econômicas por parte da Sociedade de Nações � busca-se compreender os processos de construção de um vínculo afetivo-identitário entre as comunidades de imigrantes da zona colonial italiana, no Rio Grande do Sul, e a terra de seus ancestrais, representada pelo Estado Fascista.
