    El proyecto está dirigido a hacer mejoras en el Instituto Tecnológico de Saltillo (ITS), en el Departamento de Recursos Materiales y Servicios, en el área de Almacén.

    En base a las Tecnologías de Información se desarrolló un sistema de información, el cual se encuentra en la etapa de implementación en un proceso de pruebas y correcciones, como un soporte de apoyo administrativo que permita llevar el control de inventarios del almacén del ITS con la finalidad de ofrecer rapidez y seguridad en el manejo del inventario.

    Actualmente se trabaja de forma manual con formatos en Word y Excel, es necesario emigrar a otros entornos que permitan automatizar las tareas propias del almacén.

    Dentro de los resultados que se propondrán del proyecto, es obtener consultas e informes requeridos por los usuarios, un seguimiento y control de los materiales que entran y salen del almacén a los diferentes departamentos del ITS. Lo anterior permitirá a los responsables de la institución establecer los mecanismos requeridos para dar un seguimiento adecuado y cumplir con los objetivos del programa de gestión de calidad bajo la normativa de ISO 9001:2000.

    The project is proposed for improving resources and material services in the Technological Institute of Saltillo (ITS), in the Material Resources and Services department, in the area of warehouse.

    Based on Information Technologies developed an information system, which is in the implementation stage in the process of testing and remediation, as a administrative support that allows to take the inventor control of the warehouse of the ITS across a system that allows rapidity and safety in the managing of the inventory. Currently the way of works is manually with Word and Excel formats, so that it is necessary to migrate to other environments to automate tasks, so that it meets of the warehouse.

    Among the intended outcomes of the project, it will be consultations and reports will be required by users, monitoring and control of materials entering and leaving the warehouse to the various departments of the ITS. This will allow the institution responsible for establishing the mechanisms required to provide adequate monitoring and simultaneously meet the objectives of quality management program under the rules of ISO 9001:2000.
