    Este artículo constata la no-linealidad del aumento del stock de capital humano en Cuba y cuestiona la explicación neo-clásica de la sub-utilización del factor educativo. Avanza dos hipótesis de trabajo: a) el sistema educativo instaurado por la Revolución se acercaría más a un aparato de formación a los valores socialistas que de formación de trabajadores en función de las necesidades inmediatas del sistema productivo y b) la educación socialista sería sobre todo un medio de modificar las estructuras productivas y las relaciones sociales.

    This article makes the observation of nonlinearity of the increase in the stock of human capital in Cuba and calls into question the neo-classic explanation of the underutilization of the factor of education. Two working hypotheses are advanced: (a) the education system founded with the Revolution would be more an apparatus of formation of socialist values rather than of training of the workers according to the immediate needs of the productive system and (b) socialist education would be especially a means of modifying the productive structures and the social relations
