    • This article pays tribute to an important figure head in the Travel Industry Dean Chuck Y. Gee. Areas especially unique to his success and valued leadership are explored, such as, those things that have been most/least rewarding to him as Dean of TIM, how the direction of travel education has changed over the past 25 years and anticipations for the future. As well as covering areas on the future of accrediting hospitality programs, the impact of Alumni Associations, the future of Ph.D. programs in the travel industry, faculty priorities, and perspectives on the future of tenure. In addition, It explores the continuing success of an unique program The School of Travel Industry Management, at the University of Hawaii.
