Atmosfera, dialogismo e estereótipos sonoros: reflexões acerca da construção do sentido pelo arranjo musical em sua relação com a figurativização enunciativa da expressão

    Algumas canções com forte tendência pela figurativização enunciativa da expressão � em que há desinvestimento do percurso melódico e maior similaridade à linguagem coloquial � são acompanhadas por certa ênfase em outros recursos sonoros cujos efeitos de sentido podem render ricas discussões semióticas. Esses recursos fazem parte do chamado �arranjo musical�, que, segundo acreditamos, pode ser um elemento essencial para relacionar letra e música nesse tipo de canção, além de agregar mais sentido ao texto. Propomo-nos a refl etir sobre essa questão e, por meio da articulação dos parâmetros musicais observados por Luiz Tatit com uma proposta semiótica mais geral, esboçamos a análise de alguns trechos de canções �fi gurativas� do cantor e compositor brasileiro Tom Zé, onde a relação entre arranjo e letra aparece de forma quase didática.

    Some songs which tend to the enunciative figurativization of expression � with a disinvestment of the melodic trajectory and a greater similarity to the colloquial language � are accompanied by an emphasis in some other sound resources, whose meaning effects may produce rich semiotic discussions. These sound resources are part of the �musical arrangement�, which, we believe, might be, in this kind of song, an essential element to link lyrics and music, apart from adding more sense to the text.

    We propose to refl ect about that and, through the articulation of the musical parameters observed by Luiz Tatit with a more general semiotic proposal, we outline the analysis of some extracts of �fi gurative� songs of the Brazilian singer and songwriter Tom Zé, where the connection between arrangement and lyrics appears in an almost didactic way.
