    A pesar de la abolición de las jurisdicciones exentas de los embajadores extranjeros en Roma a finales del siglo XVII, en el XVIII se restablecen. El barrio de la embajada española se afianza durante la guerra de Sucesión y se consolida después, hasta el punto que en 1725 el gobernador de Roma acuerda con el ministro español su demarcación y jurisdicción, que con pequeñas modificaciones subsiste hasta el siglo XIX. A través de la documentación española y vaticana, se estudia su evolución durante el siglo XVIII y se describen los signos de esta realidad.

    In spite of the abolition of the jurisdictions exempt from the foreign ambassadors in Rome at the end of the 17th century, in the 18th century they are restored. The quarter of the Spanish embassy becomes strong during the Succession War and there is consolidated later, up to the point that in 1725 the governor of Rome resolves with the Spanish minister his demarcation and jurisdiction, which with small modifications survives up to the 19th century. Across the Spanish documentation and Vatican his evolutions is studied during the 18th century and there are described the signs of this reality.
