Hacia la construcción del código de ética del docente venezolano

    Los Códigos éticos o deontológicos están orientados a regular o normar la conducta y comportamiento moral de las personas en un determinado campo o profesión, por ello se vinculan al contexto histórico, con la época que se vive, donde se espera que lo establecido responda a las prácticas y costumbres del momento. El código de ética de los profesionales de la docencia debe estar estrechamente vinculado con las realidades sociales, donde se expongan las competencias, el perfil y el compromiso que deben asumir los docentes frente a los educandos, familia, escuela, comunidad, sociedad y país. Por otro lado, es preciso resaltar los innumerables cambios y transformaciones que han ocurrido en Venezuela en los últimos diez años, tanto en materia jurídica y legislativa, como de índole político y social; razón por la cual se considera oportuno hacer una exhaustiva revisión, reflexión y discusión, así como indagar sobre los fundamentos epistemológicos, normas, principios y contenidos que subyacen en el código promulgado el 29 de junio de 1988, por el colegio de profesores de Venezuela.

    The Codes of ethics or ethical are orientated to regulate or normalize the conduct and moral behavior of persons, in a certain field or profession, therefore they have a link with the historical context, with the epoch that is lived, that have established answers to the practices and customs of the moment. The professional teaching ethics code must be narrowly linked, with social realities in order to be exposed to competences, profile and commitment that teachers must assume in regarding to the pupils, family, school, community, company and country. On the other hand, it is necessary to highlight the innumerable changes and transformations that have happened in Venezuela in the last ten years, not only in juridical and legislative matter, but also in political and social matter. For that reason, it is opportune to consider to do an exhaustive review, reflection and discussion on that of current ethics, as well as to investigate on the foundations of epistemologists, procedure, principles contents that lay in the code promulgated on June 29, 1988, by the teachers´ college of Venezuela.
