El autor, a partir de unas pocas teorías psicoanalíticas, pretende dar una explicación acerca del comportamiento de mártir que se presenta en cierto tipo de individuos, y que está enmarcado en lo que él denomina la personalidad terrorista. La defi nición de este tipo de personalidad va a estar enfocada desde una perspectiva meta-psicológica, especialmente en lo que tiene que ver con los mecanismos mentales que el terrorista emplea para enfrentar la realidad externa e interna; es tratar de analizar cuál es su cualidad psíquica.

The author, from a few psychoanalytic theories, tries to give an explanation brings over of the martyr�s behavior that one presents in certain type of individuals, and that is framed in what it names the terrorist personality. The defi nition of this type of personality is going to be focused from a perspective metapsicology, specially in what it has to see with the mental mechanisms that the terrorist uses to face the external and internal reality; it is to try to analyze which is his psychic quality.
