La actuación de los padres en las escuelas deportivas municipales de Sevilla

    El objetivo principal de este trabajo es conocer el interés que muestran los padres en las Escuelas Deportivas Municipales donde participan sus hijos, analizando su implicación tanto en los entrenamientos como en las competiciones deportivas. Los participantes que formaron parte del estudio fueron 357 padres y madres, 448 niños/as y 36 técnicos deportivos de 45 Escuelas Deportivas Municipales de la ciudad de Sevilla. Las modalidades deportivas estudiadas fueron el fútbol sala, fútbol 7, baloncesto, voleibol, balonmano, bádminton y tenis.

    La metodología se llevó a cabo a través de tres cuestionarios diferentes, los cuales estaban conformados por diferentes bloques de dimensiones, entre las que se encuentran la relación del padre con el técnico de su hijo, el nivel de satisfacción con el trabajo del técnico y la actuación del padre en el partido, entre otras.

    Los análisis llevados a cabo relacionaban los datos de los diferentes cuestionarios respondidos por padres, técnicos y niños de las Escuelas Deportivas Municipales, a través de una triangulación estadística. Tras el análisis de los resultados se pudo observar que la implicación de dichos padres es baja aunque asimismo depende en gran medida del deporte en el que participen, tal como revelan las diferencias encontradas en cuanto a distritos y modalidades deportivas.

    The aim of this study was to determine the interest shown by parents in the Municipal Sports Schools where children are involved, analyzing their involvement both in training and in competitions. Participants who took part in the study were 357 parents, 448 children and 36 technicians from 45 sports Municipal Sports Schools Seville. Several types of sports were studied: indoor soccer, soccer 7, basketball, volleyball, handball, badminton and tennis.

    The methodology was carried out through three different questionnaires, which were composed of different blocks of dimensions, among which we can find the father's relationship with the coach of your child, the level of satisfaction with the technical work and actions of the father in the party.

    The analysis carried out related data from different questionnaires answered by parents and children at Municipal Sports Schools, through a statistical triangulation.

    After analyzing the results, it was observed that the involvement of parents is low, although these also depend largely on the sport in which they participate, as it is revealed by the differences found in terms of districts and sports.
