    En los últimos años España ha experimentado un importante crecimiento en el número total de museos construidos y en fase de planificación. Con el objetivo de identificar las tendencias que determinarán el futuro del sector y los retos a los que las instituciones responsables se enfrentarán, teniendo en cuenta especialmente la actual coyuntura económica, Lordcultura ha realizado un estudio independiente sobre Museos en Planificación en España. La amplitud del horizonte dibujado tanto por el elevado número de proyectos en curso como por la variedad de agentes involucrados, lleva a enfatizar la necesidad de desarrollar una planificación sostenible que permita la adaptación a los cambios y retos del sector de forma dinámica y flexible. Lordcultura aporta claves para facilitar la toma de decisiones por parte de los responsables institucionales.

    In the last years, Spain has undergone a relevant increase in the number of new museums and museums under planning. Lordcultura has conducted an independent study about Museums under planning in Spain with the objective to identify the trends that will determine the future of the sector as well as the challenges that cultural institutions will face in the years to come taking into consideration current economic situation. The high number of new projects together with the variety of stakeholders involved draws a wide stage that emphasizes the need of a sustainable planning. Sustainable planning will allow for a fl exible and dynamic adaptation to the changes and new challenges of the spanish museum sector. In this article Lordcultura provides the keys to facilitate the decision making process to the leading of cultural institutions.
