    Resumen Tener y criar un hijo es una de las experiencias más enriquecedoras que tiene un ser humano. Nunca estamos preparados para tener un hijo que viene con dificultades. Por diversos motivos la tasa de niños que precisan un sistema de protección social lleva un camino ascendente desde hace años.

    Este relato biográfico presenta las vivencias y la línea de vida de una madre con hijo de necesidades especiales. No existe una realidad única. La persona vive en un tiempo, espacio y entorno. Nuestro objetivo es describir y conocer el significado de las experiencias de una madre, nuestra informante, desde el nacimiento de su hijo hace dos años hasta la actualidad.

    Abstract (Walking with Sergio. Beings and lifeline of a mother with a child who has special needs) Having a bringing up a child is one of the most enriching experiences a human being can have. We are never ready to bring up a child who has certain difficulties. For several reasons, the number of children in need of a social protection system has been increasing for years.

    The biographical narrative presents the beings and lifeline of a mother with a child who has special needs. There is no single case. Each individual lives in a given time, space and surroundings. Our aim was to describe and get to Know the implications in a mother's personal experience, our informer, from the moment her child was born two years ago up to the present.
