Resumen de Hacer lugar como construcción de realidades imaginarias

En el ámbito de las teorías arquitectónicas el concepto de lugar ha sido frecuentemente contrapuesto a la idea estética contemporánea de evento. El primer concepto (el de lugar) se ha visto como propio de culturas que podrían definirse como de permanencia, cerradas al mundo contemporáneo, y el segundo, (el de evento) celebrado como manifestación actual de la experiencia metropolitana global. Este artículo discute los aciertos y limitaciones de tales posiciones disímiles y ofrece, a cambio, una mirada alternativa al concepto de lugar y a la acción misma de su hacer �desde la arquitectura y el urbanismo con tonos de critica cultural� mirada inspirada en ideas provenientes de una fuente creativa alternativa en la literatura. Basado en un precepto postestructuralista sobre la realidad como un constructo en últimas subjetivo, el acto creativo consciente de �hacer lugar� se sitúa en el presente texto como ficción proyectiva de mundos mejores, de mundos posibles.

In the field of architectural theories, the concept of place has often been opposed to the idea of contemporary aesthetic of event. The first concept (the place) has been regarded as proper of cultures that could be defined as cultures of permanence, closed to the contemporary world, and second, (the event), held as current manifestation of the global metropolitan experience. This article discusses the hits and limitations of such dissimilar position, offering on the other hand an alternative view to the concept of place and the very act of its execution - from architecture and planning with cultural-critical views- a look inspired in ideas coming from an alternative creative source in the literature. Based on a post-structuralist precept of reality as a construct ultimately subjective, the conscious creative act of �making room� is located in this text as projective fiction of better worlds, possible worlds.
