El objetivo del estudio fue comparar los conocimientos sobre metodología de la investigación antes y después de cursar la asignatura optativa:
Investigación a través del cine (Escuela de Enfermería, Universidad de Barcelona). Se utilizó un diseño casi-experimental con grupo control pretestpostest.
Se obtuvieron 50 y 41 respuestas en el pretest y postest respectivamente; hubieron diferencias estadísticamente significativas entre ambos test en todas las preguntas cerradas, excepto en la referida a la comunicación de los resultados. Del análisis de contenido de la pregunta sobre la finalidad de la investigación emergieron los temas: finalidad de la investigación propiamente dicha, proceso de investigación y outcomes con diferentes subcategorías

The goal of the study was to compare the knowledge about methodology of the research before and after attending the elective course:
Research through the movies (School of Nursing, University of Barcelona). Quasiexperimental design through control group pre-test and post-test design was used. 50 and 41 answers were obtained in the pre-test and post-test respectively; there were statistically significant differences between both test in all the closed questions, except in the one concerning to the communication of the results. From the analysis of content of the question on the purpose of the research, the emerging subjects were: purpose of the research, process of research and outcomes, all of them with different subcategories.
