    • An important building considered as public building of religious character has been excavated at the site of Zaghe in the plain of Qazvin. It is two-roomed rectangular structure one room is U-shaped the other is an annex. The interest of the former probably used for meetings lies in its wall-paintings characterized by geometric motives and mountain goats bucrania. This ornamentation allows us to compare this construction dated from the end of the VIIth Millennium or the beginning of the VIth Millennium B.C with the shrines of Çatal Hüyük.
