  • Resumen
    • Sixteen architectural units have been excavated at the site of Zaghe, in the plain of Qazvin. Four of them (units III, VIII, IX and the "Temple ") differ from the others by their size, the location of their activity zones, their decoration. They may have been realized by a single man, a true mason. So, at Zaghe, beyond the simple specialization implied by the production activities, we would perceive that of a man able to co-ordinate construction works. A step has been made then towards more complex social structures which will be materialized later on by towns and cities.
