  • The aggregate productivity of high-yield dry farming in northern Mesopotamia was apparently centralized ca. 2500-2400 B.C.

    within 90-100 hectare urban centers like Tell Leilan. This was perhaps an endogenous process which resulted in the formation of Hurrian dynasties.
