Analysis of a newly prepared plan of the major architectural complex of Yahya Period IVC indicates that its builders used a linear masure of 72 centimeters, measuring from the outsides of exterior walls to the mid-lines of interior walls. This aspect of the architectural code of Tepe Yahya in eastern Iran may also be found at Habuba Kabira in central Syria, and at other contemporary late IVth millennium sites.
