Resumen de Ateísmo frente al Sistema Religioso: Análisis de la Resistencia Atea en España

Este artículo presenta un tipo de ateísmo surgido en España desde 1994, a través de organizaciones ateas que abogan por la separación Iglesia / Estado y una sociedad laica democrática. Se examina el concepto de fundamentalismo y religión frente al ateísmo, y la puesta en escena del sistema religioso dentro de la sociedad, soslayando al ateísmo en una posición de resistencia. Posteriormente se analiza el fundamento del ateísmo, sus pretensiones, manifestación social a través de organizaciones ateas españolas, y los riesgos de imponerlo como discurso hegemónico. Finalmente se presentan las causas de fondo ¿inconscientes y políticas- que lo llevan a actuar desde los márgenes de la sociedad, y no desde los sectores empoderados.

This article presents a type of atheism emerged in Spain since 1994, through atheist organizations that plead for Clergy / State separation and a democratic secular society. It examines the concept of fundamentalism and religion in front of atheism, and the religious system staging, that situates atheism in a resistance position. We later analyze the atheism fundament, its pretensions, social manifestation through atheist organizations in Spain, and the risks of impose it as a hegemonic discourse. Finally, we present the root causes -unconscious and political- that lead it to act from the margins of society, and not from empowered areas.
