En el capítulo diez de la �Carta a los romanos� se nos ofrecen dos razones para reprochar a los judíos su ignorancia inexcusable del plan salvador de Dios en Jesucristo. La primera, por el desconocimiento culpable de las Escrituras, y la segunda, por no escuchar la predicación sobre Jesús como Mesías a quien las propias Escrituras rinden testimonio. A este propósito resalta la importancia que tiene en la Iglesia el ministerio de la Palabra que es Cristo, quien al ser predicado despliega todo su poder salvador en aquel que acepta este anuncio por la fe.

The tenth chapter of the Epistle to the Romans gives us two reasons to criticize the Jews' inexcusable ignorance of God's saving plan in Jesus Christ: the first, by not knowing the Scriptures, and the second by not listening to the preaching concerning Jesus as the Messiah who the Scriptures bear witness to. In this regard, the importance of the ministry of the Word who is Christ in the Church is stressed, which upon being preached, arrays alls its saving power unto those who accept this announcement by faith.
