Put into context within the framework of recent palaeostress surveys around the Concud fault, this paper shows the results of stress inversion from fault populations within the juncture region of the Concud and Teruel faults. They indicate that the junction of these major faults is a place for phenomena of stress perturbation where each fault alternates to dominate and produce minor fractures, instead of creating an averaged stress field.
