  • This paper reports survey results concerning the strategic use of information technology (IT) in Singapore warehouses with a view that the proper implementation of IT contributes to the handling of orders more efficiently and the goal of integrated logistics. The study is carried out by collecting survey data and examining the significance of the use of IT in relation to various categories of warehouses. The findings indicate that the usage of IT and their types depend on various factors such as the capacity of warehouse, targeted market, IT literacy in the management, and the number of IT employees
