Use of antipsychotics in patients with Parkinson's disease (PD) or Lewy Body Dementia (LBD) poses a risk for extrapyramidal symptoms. Quetiapine is considered first line, because it appears to have the lowest risk. The following describes the case of a patient with PD who developed dystonia after only one dose of quetiapine.
