Resumen de Esbozo histórico del arte de representación de paisajes en Venezuela desde principios hasta finales del siglo XX

Nos proponemos en este artículo enfatizar momentos relevantes de la historia de la representación de paisajes en la plástica venezolana desde principios hasta finales del siglo XX, haciendo mención a aquellos artistas que marcaron pauta en la estética paisajista y a sus obras, lo que permite apreciar los cambios en los modos de ver e interpretar el entorno. El abordaje del tema se realiza con carácter documental, analítico y descriptivo, respetando la cronología de los acontecimientos. Se considera que esta revisión histórica, permite establecer relaciones y diferencias en los procesos de creación y en los productos artísticos inspirados en la temática del paisaje a través del tiempo. Esta investigación puede ser un aporte al campo de la historia, la estética y la plástica, en tanto que da pistas para la comprensión del fenómeno de la representación pictórica en Venezuela a través de la historia.

The intention of this article is to emphasize outstanding moments of the history of landscapes representation in Venezuelan art throughout the XX century, compelling those artists and their works that ruled in landscaping aesthetics, which allows appreciating changes in the way of looking and interpreting the environment. The topic is approached with a documental, analytic and descriptive character, accordingly with the chronology of the events. This historical revision, allows establishing relationships and differences in the creation processes and in the artistic products inspired by the thematic of landscape through time. This investigation can be a contribution to the field of history, aesthetics and art, because it gives hints for the understanding of the phenomenon of the pictorial representation in Venezuela through history.
